Wow! So many things I want to say but I don’t want to sound repetitive because I think I’ve mentioned this before but I’ll say it again anyway. The imagery conjured up in this chapter is so varied and yet memorably distinct. The moonlit night with the boy by the window and the swamp at sunset! Don’t get me started on the thematic elements introduced at the end there. Also, poor kid. Heart hurts for him. Glad he got the healing he deserved. Nice chapter. Sorry I’m so far behind!
