How exciting! I’ve long appreciated your diagnosis of the ills of our time, and followed with interest your study tour of Mondragon. Look forward to reading the manifesto and seeing what’s next. I was so inspired by the Dark Mountain Manifesto that it changed the course of my life. I have no doubt yours will have a similar effect.
You’ve probably read most of the essays in it since you’ve been here awhile! But it’s fun to continue working on and researching the overall manifesto vision. What is the Dark Mountain one? Sounds like I need to read it!
I'm inspired, and am also rather a Morris fan! I just bought the print edition of the manifesto. I'm also struck by how important it is to embody that inspiration in tools fitting for our time: it would be so easy to take inspiration from Morris and think "I must found a printing press", whereas you have done the analogue for our digital age :)
I’m so obsessed with Morris, glad there’s another one of us here! I definitely hope to get to a similar level of ornamentation (we have our own drop caps for the pamphlets, for example, just like Morris!) But yes, we also have tools he didn’t have that allow us to adapt the model for the online world.

https://dark-mountain.net/about/manifesto/ Haven't read it in a while, but it's a banger. When are you emailing yours? I haven't seen it yet in my email.
Oh amazing! Just ordered!!
And that’s so strange, I sent it last week. Let me go look…
Sorry! Found it! (It's been a busy week . . .) Thank you!!
Oh phew! Ok thanks for letting me know!

This is so cool, and very exciting, Elle. Thank you for sharing the inspiration behind what you're doing. I can't wait to see it develop.
Thanks Kaila, that’s so kind!!
Congratulations, Elle 👏! What a milestone for your collective.
Thanks Claudia!
