My work is way too doom and gloom to be utopian fiction lol. Good luck with submissions!

Heck yeah! If anyone needs a producer, I might be up for it. It would depend on the project and costs involved, of course. But I've always wanted to get into film ever since I was a kid.

Oh that’s fascinating, film is something I’m less familiar with so it didn’t even cross my mind that you could do something like this on Substack. Now you’ve got my gears turning again...

I love this idea!! I can’t wait to see the films.

Are we going to have a digital red carpet with Elle hosting like an E! correspondent?

Love, love, love this idea!! And SO cool that you attend Sundance annually! Film festivals are so fun! I’ve been to Tiff several times, but never Sundance. Excited to hear about these films.

May I make a suggestion? You should put this film festival up on FilmFreeway, which is like Submittable for film fests, charge a small submission fee, and attach an award to the festival. You will get higher quality submissions and can use the fee proceeds to further your utopian visions, pay a panel to review submissions, or to award “best utopian short.” Etc.
