Count me in please Elle! I'm researching the future of food for humans on Earth and in space at the moment. If I get done with that before the course (I'm already well behind), then I'll move onto the future of romantic relationships. Thanks!
Very fun! Sadly can’t make that time at all, or I’d consider joining, but I see folks livestreaming their research on Twitch and I like it. Was considering doing it myself and live streaming the process behind writing a Substack post.
Love this idea! I wish the timing was more possible for me but alas the semester’s about to start and I’m running out of runway. Good luck! I look forward to seeing what comes of it.
Great idea. I've always been one to try to verify what I read before passing it on, and add a bit of depth if I can. I do notice that my research process for a longer article can sometimes start with following something sparkly and then evolve into heading down a rabbit hole - to mix some metaphors. I'll be interested in seeing how to explore, and when to stop.
I like this idea - I feel that for one to be able to make the best call for action, research into a particular issue is needed. I third Joanne's idea of having a "a la carte" option for those who only want the workshop and not a subscription to everything.
I really like your idea of carrying out the research for your project in public so others can follow your process. I would be interested in joining you. I am not currently a subscriber at the 'collector level.' Would you consider offering this 6-week process as a stand-alone experience that people can pay to join without taking out the full annual subscription?
The price would be the same (or more) if I did that so I’m not sure that would make sense. $200 for a six week writing workshop is one of the more inexpensive ones I’ve seen, and more than fair compensation for my work. That’s why this is more a perk for my subscribers than it is a single class to purchase.
This sounds wonderful, joined your collector tier. Looking forward to it. I want to explore some deep, wacky ideas in more depth :)
Yay!!!! Can’t wait!
You're a good sport Elle, rising to the challenge through innovation and with generosity.

Oooooh very good topics!
Thanks. Struggling with it at the moment, so this could be good timing for me. Are you still thinking of coming to Melbourne btw?
Oh yes!!!!! We finally have it scheduled. The week of March 3rd! Will you be around????
How exciting! Yes, I should be. You can even stay at mine if you don't mind small creatures running around making noise.

Oh that’s so cool! I’ve never thought about that as a use case for Twitch!

It’s so hard to get the timing right!!!! Next time for sure!

I like Joanne's proposal
